Memorials
With this collection we intend to honour and commemorate our war heroes and civilian victims, killed in the Great War, the Second World War and our freedom fights in 1848 and 1956, whose names are engraved on sculptures, statues, plaques and other memorial objects. In addition to the victims’ names, these memorial sites often record additional data, i.e. army unit, historical events, etc.
The database is continuously developed and extended. |
Only photographs of MACSE members and volunteers are published. The photographs are the sole intellectual property of the persons who have submitted them. For the reproduction or re-publishing of these photographs for commercial use one must obtain a written permission from the submitters.
