Data Transfer declaration
- I consent to the Hungarian Family History Research Society (1022 Budapest, Bimbó u 55.), - from now on MACSE - publishing on its web site all data and family trees furnished by me; if necessary including the reservations mentioned under point 3 below.
- I acknowledge that data supplied by MACSE members might facilitate the connecting of different family trees, the clarification of wider connections between relatives. I consent to the use of my data in establishing connections to other MACSE members’ data and family trees.
- I acknowledge that those who provide inaccurate and unchecked data which cannot be verified with the purpose of having it published doing this without notifying others, may misinform the members of MACSE, moveover in some cases might even cause damage. I will endeavour that while providing MACSE with family trees, family history and other data the following
- I will provide the source of all information (the accurate name of the register, record office reference, accurate title of publication etc.);
- I will note at the source if I was in no position to check the accuracy of the information provided (eg. it was received from others and therefore could not be checked, family tradition etc.),
- I will notet at the source if the connection is only probable and I am passing on the unchecked information with reservations (eg. likely connection)
- Should I be passing on personal data about a living person without their consent to MACSE, the society will immediately make that person anonymous, and delete the information in the original data file.
- I acknowledge that all data and family trees on the MACSE web site can be accessed online, in other words all data and family trees marked as public by me will be available to other users of the site.
